Sustaining Independent Research and Respect for Research Achievements
Research Conducted Independently
In accordance with the mission, the author began research on the Old Testament (Prophecy) and, to date, has conducted the research independently without receiving monetary support or sponsorship from any government, institution, organization, or individual.
The research and investigation of materials, publication of the research monograph, development of research materials, and operation of the research website have likewise continued without external monetary support.
To continue in-depth and follow-up research on the Old Testament (Prophecy), as well as expanded research extending into history, archaeology, geology, astronomy, physics, biology, and other fields, a stable foundation for research is necessary.
Research support and sponsorship are not provided in exchange for influencing the direction or results of the research. They are intended to provide a foundation for documenting, building, and making publicly available the research process and its results while maintaining the independence of the research.
Respect for Research Achievements and Their Proper Use
Religious ministers convey the Word, receive offerings through preaching and teaching, and sustain their religious communities. Likewise, a researcher conducts research in their own field, records the results of that research, and develops them into new research topics.
Just as the role of those who preach and teach should be respected, the time and effort of researchers, as well as their research achievements and their value, should also be duly respected.
If the content of this research is used in sermons, lectures, education, academic research, publications, videos, or other materials, please clearly identify the author, the name of the research, and the source.
Taking research achievements developed by another researcher over a long period of time without identifying the author, the name of the research, or the source, presenting them as one’s own achievements, or using them solely as a means for sermons and receiving offerings is inconsistent with proper research ethics and religious responsibility. Such conduct may not only disregard the researcher’s efforts and infringe upon the researcher’s rights, but may also undermine the values of honesty and justice taught in the Bible.
Those who convey and teach the Bible should, all the more, respect the efforts and rights of those who have studied it.
If the content of this research, or the research system established by selecting and connecting biblical passages to establish a foundational research framework and enable follow-up and expanded research based on it, is used as a major part of sermons, lectures, educational materials, academic papers, books, videos, or other materials, or is intended for use in publishing, video production, or commercial activities, please clearly identify the source and consult in advance.
Research Support and Sponsorship Information
Research support and sponsorship are requested to sustain long-term and continuous research.
Research support and sponsorship will be used as a foundation for continuing research on the Old Testament (Prophecy) and for conducting research across various fields of history and science in the newly expanded areas of research arising from the Old Testament (Prophecy).
Major Areas of Research and Use
Research support and sponsorship are used to further define and develop the research topics that originated from research on the Old Testament (Prophecy) and to expand the scope of research into various fields of history and science.
The major areas of research and use are as follows:
- Continued research on the Old Testament (Prophecy) and the identification of new research topics
- Research on the history and civilization of approximately 2,000 years ago
- Research on human history, Earth history, and ancient civilizations
- Research on the order and structure of the universe
- Expanded research in physics, astronomy, and cosmology
- Research on the origin of life and creation
- Research on the future of humanity
- Domestic and international field investigations and research into historical, scientific, and scholarly materials
- Building, organization, preservation, and making research materials publicly available
- Operation and expansion of the research website
- Publication of research books and research materials
- Academic exchange and joint research with researchers and research institutions in Korea and abroad
Expansion of Research
Based on the foundational research framework developed through research on the Old Testament (Prophecy), this research identifies new research topics and expands them into specific research topics across various fields, including history, archaeology, geology, astronomy, physics, and biology.
For this purpose, the historical, scientific, and scholarly materials required for each research topic are investigated, and the research is intended to be developed in a more specialized and systematic manner through review and collaboration with researchers in the relevant fields.
Research materials and the research foundation are also being systematically developed so that individual research topics do not remain confined to a single study, but can continue into new research and joint research.
Future Research Direction
Beyond Korea, we seek to expand research collaboration with universities, research institutions, and researchers in various fields across multiple countries, to conduct broad research on historical, scientific, and scholarly materials, and to develop individual research topics into long-term international research projects.
Through academic exchange and research collaboration with governments, public institutions, universities, research institutions, companies, and researchers in various fields, we seek to establish an international research foundation in which diverse fields of expertise can participate, and to develop each research topic into more in-depth research and joint research.
Long-Term Research Foundation and Goals
Research support and sponsorship are intended not to be limited to short-term research results, but to establish a long-term research foundation that enables the systematic building and analysis of research materials, the identification and advancement of new research projects, domestic and international academic exchange, and international joint research to continue.
Through this, we seek to continuously expand the research projects that originated from research on the Old Testament (Prophecy) into various fields of history and science, discover new research possibilities, and contribute to the advancement of scholarship and science.
Furthermore, by continuing research on human and Earth history, the order and structure of the universe, the origin of life and creation, and the future of humanity, we seek to develop this research so that it can contribute to a broader understanding of humanity’s past and present and to the exploration of progressive directions for the future.
